I love getting enquiries from families who are visiting the Cotswolds on holiday. We are so blessed with the scenery and the beautiful villages around here. Plus everyone is relaxed and there is no agenda other than to have fun.
This beautiful family were over from America, and called to see if I could recommend a few places outdoors to hold their photoshoot. I had a few locations up my sleeve, with streets of pretty Cotswold Stone houses as a backdrop. However when the day came, the forecast was for constant rain, so I made a last minute change and suggested that we met at the Lygon Arms in Broadway. And I’m so glad we did!
It was the perfect place to hunker down and shelter from the rain. Their adorable little 6month old was learning how to walk, so it was a great opportunity to be capture him crawl and totter around on the floor safely.
We then had a break in the rain, so we wandered the pretty streets of Broadway and enjoyed the autumn colour in the gardens of the Lygon Arm. This family got their picture postcard shot and more!
